Blueberry-Vodka Lemonade

If you made your blueberry vodka yesterday – then today you are ready to enjoy a tall refreshing and very pretty glass of blueberry-vodka lemonade.  Oh, and you’ll be so very happy you did – it’ll cool you down and chill you out, all at once.

This is what the blueberry and raspberry vodkas looked like when they were done macerating. Be sure and reserve the berries after you strain the vodka – you’re gonna want to use them as garnish.

Blueberry-Vodka Lemonade

1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1 teaspoon sugar
Ice
2/3 cup blueberry vodka
1 1/3 cups fresh lemonade
Several vodka-soaked reserved blueberries (the berries left after you strained your vodka)
1 lemon slice, cut in half

In a small bowl mix the fresh blueberries with the sugar and set aside for 15 minutes.

Divide those berries between two mason jars or tall glasses. Fill with ice. Pour 1/3 cup blueberry vodka into each jar or glass. Top with 2/3 cup lemonade into each jar or glass and stir.  Add a few of the vodka-soaked reserved blueberries and a half lemon slice to each for garnish. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!
