own up to what you’ve done
Something has happened.
One of you did something and I am asking that you step up and take responsibility for your actions.
I know, with certainty that it was one of you! No one, absolutely no one else, but one of my readers could have known and done what you did.
I know this because one of you did something after you read about a situation that was ongoing, and you read it about it here.
Please step forward and admit it, not just me, but to all of us.
One of you thoughtful, lovely, generous, kind, and loving people read THIS post from Tuesday of this week, ate at Tarbell’s The Tavern, and then bought a piece of the coconut cream pie, that Connor so longed for, and had it sent back to him.
WOW! So very sweet and thoughtful!
Connor called me as he was walking to his car to drive home last night and asked, “Why didn’t you tell me that you guys were coming in?”
I said, “What? We didn’t come in. We’ve been home all night. What are you talking about?”
“Really!? Someone sent me a piece of the coconut cream pie and I thought it was you guys.” he replied.
I knew right away that it was one of you!
I said, “Oh my gosh, it was someone who reads my blog!”
He laughed out loud and said, “No Way!”
Yes, way! And Thank YOU! You are an amazingly sweet and kind soul.
He brought it home so I could taste it and we could compare Tarbell’s pie to mine. We both agreed that his filling was better. It is thicker and had more coconut flakes in it … which is at least part of the reason it would be thicker.
I liked my crust better and Connor liked my topping better, only because there was more of it.
Point is, please step forward so that we can formally thank you for being the sweetest person ever! Way sweeter than a slice of coconut cream pie!
xoxo
