my brillant BFF
While Peggy and I were working on her herb/garden crates the other day, she mentioned that she had a dream. She dreamt of a solution to my apron problem… you remember… THIS ONE. Yeah, the one that I ranted about last year at the end of summer classes.
In her dream, I used lingerie laundry bags to keep the dozens of aprons separate from each other and prevent them from becoming one huge knot in the washer.
Peggy, You is Kind! You is SMART! You is Important! Seriously, you are brilliant!
I ran to Target and bought 5 bags ($1.39 each).
Now each day after class, I do two loads of laundry, putting 6 aprons in each load, one floating around freely and the other 5 contained in their individual bags… JOY… my life will never be the same!
I now have extra time to go get a pedicure, or maybe a facial, or just sit down and have a glass of wine and take a long deep breath before classes next week!
