gone shopping

You won’t find me in the kitchen today. No, I’m off to my favorite one-a-month sale with my BFF, Peggy!  HERE is where we are.  In fact, at the minute this post goes up, we will be scouting around for new finds. The sale runs all weekend long, so come if you can, you’ll find The Perfect Christmas gift!  Here are just a few of the treasures we found last month…

This sweet little silver bird’s nest with two eggs and a tiny bird.  It now sits in the natural nest on my kitchen counter among a Christmas glass and silver ornament vignette.

These naturally shed antlers were used, first on our Thanksgiving table, and now in this arrangement with my vintage French confit pots in the breakfast room.

And a set of six 1950’s real stag-horn knives, used on the Thanksgiving table, and sure to make a reappearance on our Christmas table too.

Finally, Peggy’s vintage French confit pot, which she nearly stole, was such a great deal!  Even though I already have seven of my own, I was a tiny bit jealous.
