Pretzel Bites

So easy, so good!

Sweet and Savory Pretzel Bites

1 package frozen Rhodes dinner rolls, thawed according to package directions
3/4 cup baking soda
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Kosher salt
Melted butter
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar

Cut each roll in half and roll it into a ball. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and cover with a damp towel. Allow the rolls to rise for at least 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Bring a large pot of water and the baking soda to a boil.

Place 6 rolls at a time into the boiling water and leave them there until they puff up; about 30 seconds. Use a slotted spoon or spider to transfer back to the baking sheet. Continue with the remaining rolls.

Place baking sheet in preheated oven and bake as follows:

For Savory Bites: Bake for 12 minutes and sprinkle with cheese and salt, return to oven for 5 more minutes.

For Sweet Bites: Bake for 18 minutes and then dip into melted butter immediately after removing from the oven. Then roll them in cinnamon sugar.
