Brussels Sprouts Flatbread
These tasty flatbreads have so much going for them.
- They are easy and quick to make
- They have bacon
- The bread is prepared naan, with no dough to knead
- Did I mention that they have bacon?
- The ingredient list is short, with only five things, one of which is bacon!
I haven’t had bacon in a long time, as you can tell, I’ve really missed it.
Simple Brussels Sprouts Flatbread
- 5 slices bacon, chopped
- 10-ounce package of shaved or thinly sliced Brussels sprouts, about 4 cups
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup Marcona almonds, roughly chopped
- 6 naan flatbreads
- 1 1/2 cups grated Fontina cheese
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Sauté the chopped bacon in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until the bacon is almost crisp. Add the shaved Brussels sprouts and cook for another 4 minutes or until sprouts are softened.
Season with salt and pepper.
Stir in the almonds and remove from heat.
Place the naan on a baking sheet or two, if needed, and divide the sprout mixture evenly between the flatbreads.
Top each with 1/4 cup of grated Fontina. Bake for 10 minutes in preheated oven until cheese is melted.
Slice and serve immediately.

I LOVE brussel sprouts!! In fact, I’m eating them right now! (I eat lunch for breakfast! That’s what happens when you wake up at 2:15am weekdays!) My husband needs to make this!
