Game Time!
Neither Dave nor I have been home together since last week, so there has been no cooking of any sort occurring in my kitchen all week long! On top of that, not much progress has been made on the Christmas decorating front. I think I am in denial that Christmas is less than 3 weeks away. The cart by the pool and this cute vintage toy bin, that I recently found, are the ONLY two decorations I have up so far. Seriously, no tree, no nothing yet!
On that depressing note, let’s play a game! Here is how it is going to work. I will post three close-up photos of items in my kitchen. You leave a comment telling me what you think one, two, or all three of the items are. If this game turns out to be popular, then we shall make it a regular feature. If no one plays, then this may be the first and the last version of “What the Heck is That?!?”. And that would be sad indeed, because I have some pretty cool stuff in my kitchen! So, if you want me to share and play again, then YOU need to play! A wrong guess is better than no guess at all!
(There is one restriction on this first go-round. My kids may not guess what item #3 is. It would be too easy for them. But they can have a go at items #1 and #2… I really should just say that Marissa can’t guess – because I do not believe Connor checks in very often!)
I will post the answers and full photos of the 3 items tomorrow, and maybe a recipe too. Well, if I cook today, then a recipe tomorrow. OK, Let’s Play…

Taking a shot in the dark to get things rolling……..#1 might be a decorative rolling pin. #2 possibly a butter mold and #3 is a a total guess….. a fishing basket??????? Love the cute vintage toy bin!!
I don’t know what that bottom one is. Woops. I think the first one is a carved box of some sort. Can I copy Patti with the butter mold for #2?

Omg, thought I would have this in the bag since I’ve been in your kitchen many times, but so NOT! But here go my total guesses:
#1 – an engraved chop stick holder
#2 – a vintage serving platter
#3 – a wicker storage drawer with handle
