tanqueray1Today I had to put my sweet dog, Tanqueray, down. He was such a love – Dave, Marissa, Connor, and I will miss him so much. Rest in Peace, beautiful Tank. xoxo

Linda, I’m so sorry about Tanqueray. I know the kids loved seeing him during the summer classes. I remember Syd coming home from her first class years ago saying “They have the fluffiest dog ever!” We will be keeping all of you in our prayers.

Ah….I’m sad for you. It is a tough thing. Pets are so part of our families. And, my Charlie always says that you have the “coolest dog ever.”

So sorry about Tanqueray. I know how hard it is to decide you have to do it. I missed my walks with him this time, & I know you’ll miss him terribly. Love, Mom

Oh sweet Linda…a much belated “we’re so sorry” about Tank. After just sending our fluffy ship kitty off to cat-nip heaven, it makes the news feel extra sad. Zada, whenever she sees dogs in Mexico, and most, I’m afraid didn’t have a wonderful pool-side life as Tank, and it’s, well, “kind of fluffy” she’ll say “oh mom, look, it’s got a lot of hair, but Tank, now Tank has the biggest fluff in the entire world….right mom?” and I always follow with, “yes Zada, you’re right Tank wins the “fluff off every single time”. And she smiles and often says “I love Tank, when are we going to see him again?”. It will be sad telling her today, if I can even do it, about the loss of him. Our love to you all…

Aw, Nancy – thank you so much for you sweet words, brought a tear to my eye and if you do tell Zada, be sure and tell her that our pets are romping around together in heaven together now! oxxo
