pom-tastic
I have the most beautiful and bountiful pomegranate tree in my backyard.
I had the tree planted when we did a complete remodel of our yard, five years ago.
It produces bigger and better-looking fruit each year.
The only problem is, that the fruit falls off the tree and then rots before it ripens. On Saturday, I cleaned the tree of each and every unripened pom before it had a chance to fall to the ground.
I’ve decided that I have to let the wish of having juicy edible poms go and just enjoy the fact that I have a beautiful basket full of pomegranates that I can now dry and use for floral arrangements and for fall and winter decorating.
As they say, “Beggars can’t be choosers!”

What are you feeding that tree? Awesome! Can’t wait to see your creative dried arrangement!
This makes me sad! I thought we were going to get pomegranate drink recipes…
